Gay TV Week a Success!

Our (and Palm Springs’) first-ever Gay TV week was a resounding success. Every one of our industry mixers, workshops, and events was well attended by eager and interested people from the industry, Palm Springs’ business community, friends, and supporters.

We’d like to thank all of the participants, sponsors, and businesses for their overwhelming support of Gay TV Week.

First, The Moxie Project thanks The Hotel Zoso for bending over backwards to create a home for this event. They guided us through a maze of details that enabled us to put together a great event.  Their management and staff assisted us with patience and grace regardless of our request. We hope that someday the "Moxie Passion" cocktail makes it on to your menu!
 
We give a huge thanks to our 60-Second Commercial Making contestants for your creativity, vision, and willingness to give to the community. Your involvement is the cornerstone of The Moxie Project’s mission.

A bow and an ovation for our celebrities, Bruce Vilanch and Tom Bianchi, for lending their time and expertise to workshops full of people hanging on their every word.

A heartfelt thanks to to Joe Hoffman and Richard Sablatura for saying "yes" over and over again.

Thanks to John and Mark, of Chis Inc., and Laura O'Kane for helping to sponsor the contest prizes. To Sandy Tung and Anne Vaughton for creating the adventure that was The Amazing Race of the Desert, to raise funds to support the project. Thanks to Robin and Melinda for hosting our information table, for selling kooky cooling items, and creating the executive producer idea.  Thanks to Johnny Hedges, Luc Benech, DJ Mixtress Victoria, and DJ Michael Paul for all donating their time to spin tunes for the 4 Decades T dance.  To Matt and Robert who came for the writers meetings and picked up the slack in lots of places. To our esteemed panel of politicians, business leaders, and celebrities who judged the contest, we thank you for giving your time and effort. Special thanks to O'Bayley communications and Chris Lancaster Sound and Music for being worth the investment.
